Denise Ross 7th grade students will increase consistent usage of grade level or abovevocabularyusing Vocabulary Journals and mastering Words of the Day that will result in a 10% increase in pass rate on the 2015STAAR Reading test.
Trish Watson 75% of 7th grade students will pass the 2015STAAR Reading test resulting in an overall 10%increaseby direct instruction I in summarizing, paraphrasing and synthesizing text in ways to maintain meaning in order to identify and correctly answer dual-coded questions.
Amy Kaminski Increasethe overall passing rate for seventh grade students enrolled in STAAR Reading classes to70% on the 2015STAAR Reading and Writing testsby analyzing data, developing individualized plans for students, providing access to technology, using district provided resources, and providing frequent recognition of individual student effort.
