PACE Speech Notecards Once I was travelling with my family to the Oregon Coast. In the wooded areas, I noticed that there were quite a few differences between the animals there and those I was familiar with in the Idaho forests. I also noticed that there were quite a few trees that appeared to be chewed on by other animals: beavers and wood chucks. This experience led me to my question: how much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? My name is Marcy Pishl and today I’m going to talk about the research I did, the hypothesis I formed based on my question, my experiment, and the experiment’s results.
