  4. ESC Work plan 2007, Objective 2d The agreed aims of this project were: 1. Based on existing standards and indicators, develop common specifications of shelter and NFI requirements 2. Based on standards and indicators develop guidelines to assist in shelter variations due to climatic, geographical and cultural issues “For example, as demonstrated recently in Pakistan, it is difficult to ensure that, in a specific climate and season, an appropriate and equal number of blankets is distributed to each disaster-affected individual.” Non-Food Items
