RECOMMENDATION #1 Create a 6, 7, 8 grade configuration by putting the Intermediate 6th grade onto the 7th grade and 8th grade time schedule.

TRANSPORTATION Buses leave after 9th period & are typically the same bus the child uses in the morning Late buses are available after 10th period so encourage your child to take advantage of this extra period.

AUGUST MAILING • A schedule will be mailed in mid-August indicating your child’s P.O.S.T. teacher, team assignment and class schedule. • A supply list will be available on the district website in June, as well as being included in the August mailing.
TRANSITION ACTIVITY Students and parents should visit the Homer District website at www.homercentral.org and vote for the fifth grade transition activity to the Junior High.
