BFEM Methods • Post guidance documents on BFEM through document upload feature • Use help feature to post specific guidance with links to training materials Customers using Method Demonstration • Show how DHS posts documents

  3. 12.2 Demonstrate how the tool manages budget data requests (BDRs) including the ability to issue and collect responses to data calls. BFEM Methods • BFEM manages budget data requests in the same manner as a budget submission • Establish a set for the BDR • Define the data that you need collected • Develop guidance and instructions • Open the set for the desired period Customers using Method • All Demonstration • DOI sample set

BFEM Methods • When an organization is promoted the system sends out emails • System also has a feature to send emails when a document type is uploaded.   6. 12.4 Demonstrate the tool’s ability to send automated notifications within the system and through e-mail based on workflow events. BFEM has the ability to create email lists for a particular document type. This will notify the selected users when there are changes to the document type. Select the “Email List” function in the “Document Type” actions menu. To add all available users to the email list, click the “Assign All” button, or click on each of the available user and it should move the individual to “Assigned Users”. Click the “Save” button to commit the changes.
