Why Are We Here Today? • NASA is implementing an agency-wide standard timekeeping system as a prerequisite for the Federal Government’s e-Payroll consolidation initiative (mandated by the President’s Management Agenda). • WebTADS is replacing TLC as HQ’s time and attendance distribution system on March 22. HQ is the 9th participant to implement WebTADS. • The implementation team needs your assistance to identify Code Contacts to assist with implementation

WebTADS Defined Roles and Responsibilities • All Employees will: • Enter time directly into WebTADS • Enter prior pay period adjustments (corrections) for up to 3 past pay periods • Enter requests for leave, overtime (OT), and compensatory time (CT) • Understand current time and attendance policies • Points-of-Contact will: • Support the end-users and approvers of their organization • Be the first point of contact for questions • Maintain employee’s schedules • Have the ability to complete or make changes to employee’s timesheet • Approvers will: • Approve or disapprove timesheets and leave, OT, and CT requests • Maintain employee’s schedules • Have the ability to complete or make changes to employee’s timesheet
HQ WebTADS Schedule • January • HQ WebTADS communications begin • Data collection/validation • Planning for testing and training • February • Training sessions begin • Testing • HQ unique requirements tested • Pilot test completed • Communication plan executed • Code specific • HQ wide

Preparing HQ for WebTADS Change Management General Awareness Training + + Instructor-led training for POCs and Approvers and web-based training/demos for employees Targeted communication with key personnel to prepare employees Broad communications through HQ-wide media = Desired Outcome A smooth HQ-wide transition to WebTADS on March 22, 2004 (Pay Period 8)
