It was founded in September 1998 by two engineers of ENSCI.
Study and manufacture of the production equipment Commercial partnership with FERRO group and DOMINO company Research on the interaction laser/material Collaboration with National School Superior of Industrial Ceramics Decoration and personalization Delivery of services CERLASE ITS TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT
THE PROCESS DEPOSIT OF THE POWDER The laser marking process consists of laying by different methods (spraying, decals, padprinting, screenprinting…) a mineral powder onto the substrate to mark.
THE PROCESS IMAGE PROCESSING After computer processing, the pattern to reproduce is sintered by the laser onto the substrate.
THE PROCESS CLEANING The excess of powder can be manually or automatically removed. The marking is finished.
THE PROCESS VIDEO SHOW
THE PROCESS Organization chart
Possibility to trace the product by computer processing (Bar code, matrix code, tracking) • Personalized marking of individual to large ranges • Flexible and fast execution • realization of prototypes in few minutes • No maintenance cost any longer • Very good definition and quality of marking • Reduction in storage and production flow improvement, as articles can be marked just before dispatch • Elimination of firing • Very high reliability and efficiency • Decoration on all complex geometrical surfaces THE PROCESS THE ADVANTAGES
This new technology has a great future in many industrial fields. • Inalterable traceability • Decoration • Thermal or dielectric barriers • Conducting line • Fight against the counterfeit… • Different mode of financing for research: • Interns financing • Financing by refundable advance • EUREKA project • Industrial financing RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH ORIENTATIONS The activity of Cerlase is based on a new patented technology « Process and device for marking objects with sintered mineral powders » n° EP1040017, B1 et n° WO9929519
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT THE FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH CERLASE centers its development on fundamental research, in particular thanks to a partnership with the ENSCI. This collaboration makes it possible to develop the comprehension of the phenomena of absorption with the short infra-red.
