Round 1: Today • Storms with brief gusty winds this morning • Wind Advisory in effect all day • Afternoon and evening main threat • SPC “Slight Risk” for most of Middle TN • Storm clusters with damaging winds possible • Isolated Supercells/tornadoes also possible • 1 to locally 3 inches of rain • Severe potential depends on afternoon sun and gulf moisture “surge”

Round 2: Mid/late Next Week (4/20 – 4/22) • Another storm system and cold front will bring threat for more thunderstorms • Long range model shows two more possibly significant storms the following week • Week of April 25 • Flooding threat will increase with each successive storm • CPC’s 8-14 day outlook for above average rainfall
