  1. VBC Public Announcements Posting Policies and Procedures ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE A MASS MAILING, YOUR NAME CAN NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST UNTIL YOUR ACCOUNT IS DEACTIVATED. Allsubmissions must be in a minimum 24 hrs prior to requested posting time. A minimum of 2 weeks between recurring event postings is required to minimize traffic flow. ALL submissions require an approval process. Contacting for status will not expedite this process so do not submit inquiries on messages. Do not “Reply to All”, or request information on any announcement from VBC Announcements. Pleaseuse spell and grammar checks prior to sending a request. Denial to post is non-debatable, if there are changes that will make it publishable, you will be informed of what changes/ actions need to occur. DO not forget your Military bearing; unprofessional correspondence and malicious acts are not acceptable and will be dealt with appropriately.

Standard message format (Example) WHO: All personnel on the VBC WHAT: VBC Announcement Briefings When: 0100-2400 Indefinitely Where: The Entire Victory Base Complex Why: (Optional) To Facilitate announcement processing and streamline message flow traffic. POC: Who they should contact for more information (Not optional) Send announcement requests to Victory, Base Public Announcements, this is the only address accepting requests victorybasepublic@iraq.centcom.mil Attachments are no longer allowed in postings. Please post attachments to your portal page, and include a hyper-link. Messages received less than 24hrs prior to posting time desired will not have increased priority and may not be posted if approval process does not occur before start time of event.
