  3. Service Changes 23rd March 2014 • Later buses on Service 1 between Blyth and Ashington (replaces X5 Blyth – Bebside) • Punctuality improvements to Service 1, Blyth to Ashington and Service 2, Blyth to Morpeth • Adjustments to running times at peak times reflecting changed traffic conditions

  4. Service revisions under discussion for late May 2014 • Punctuality improvements for X21/22 • Improved off-peak hourly frequency on Service 34 between Ashington and Bedlington Station • School contract losses means the surrender of Service 30 contract

Other Arriva Vehicle Improvements in Northumberland in 2014 • Wi-Fi fitted to buses on Services X10/11 and 308 • Upgraded buses for Services X14 and X20 by the Autumn • Newer coaches for Service X15 by the Autumn • By Autumn 2014 Ashington Depot will have the youngest fleet age in Arriva North East at 6.5 years, with Blyth Depot second youngest

Full public roll out of customer ‘Travel Companion’ • Mobile App for iPhone and Android for times, fares and bus stop information • Live vehicle tracking – customers can track their service in real time • Bus stop location finder and trip planner • 80,000 customer downloads to date and very favourable responses
