ONE CKT OF 400KV TALAGUPPA-NELAMANGALA LINE OPENED OUT ON REGULAR BASIS TO CONTAIN OVER VOLTAGE. • 400/220 KV TALAGUPPA ICT TAP POSITION AT 9 RESULTING IN • 400KV BUS VOLTAGE @ TALAGUPPA IS AT 431KV WHILE 220KV BUS VOLTAGE @ SHARAVATHY IS AT 219KV • OPENING OF ONE CKT OF 400KV TALAGUPPA-NELAMANGALA DROPS THE 400KV VOLTAGE BY 7 – 9 KV. • CHANGING THE TAP TO 11 WOULD BRING DOWN 400KV VOLTAGE BY 4 – 6 KV & CORRESPONDINGLY 220KV VOLTAGE WOULD ALSO RISE.
