It’s Purpose Digital Media has changed the world dramatically in the last 50 years. • Communicate ( email, voice over IP, signs) • Entertain ( games, films) • Illustrate ( computer aided design, photography, computer rendering) • Inform- (News, radio, television, text) • Help us- Online banking, research, news, facts, maps, bookings, sales)

MP3s can be created by converting WAV format CDs (which usually contain 10-15 songs) and reduce to smaller file sizes iTunes, WinAmp etc., are software programs that not only play CDs, but convert them to MP3 You can get hundreds of MP3 songs on a CD.
