  6. What about Subject Directories? • about.com • ipl.org • lii.org • kidsclick.org • Benefits: Subject directories help you narrow down your topic and find valuable websites.

  7. What about Virtual Libraries? • INFOhio- www.infohio.org • password: explore • This website gives you the opportunity to explore databases specific to Ohio and to the world.

  8. How do Advanced Searches work? • They enable you to be specific about what you are looking for! • Google Advanced Search • Dogpile Advanced Search • Kidsclick Advanced Search • Ebsco Advanced Search

  11. Where can you find magazine articles? • INFOhio has links to many, many subscription databases where you can search for magazine and newspaper articles. • Ebsco is excellent! • When you go to this site you can choose what type of information you want. • Newspaper, magazine, transcript

  12. Conclusion • There is more out there than Google. • Use all of your resources and your research will be more efficient and easier.
