  2. When You SinPsalm 51 The problem is sin - our disobedience of God Euphemisms do not remove or excuse sin You will sin, so what will you do when you do?

  3. Wrong Ways to Deal with Sin Deny it - cf. 1 John 1:8, 10; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 Rationalize - Claim you are good enough - cf. Romans 3:10-12; Isaiah 64:6; Matthew 7:21-23

  4. Wrong Ways to Deal with Sin Disregard - “so I sin, so what?” - cf. Romans 7:13; Luke 16:19-31 Give false repentance - cf. 2 Corinthians 7:9-10
