“Pre-award” system established by federal government in 2002 • E-Government initiative operating under the governance of the Office of Management and Budget. • Intended to deliver a system that provides a centralized location for grant seekers to find and apply for federal funding opportunities • Today, houses information on over 1,000 grant programs for 26 federal grant-making agencies Grants.gov
Apply for Funding - Electronic submission via Grants.gov is required for ALL competing grant applications with the exception of Complex, Multi-project applications (Project/Centers)* Find Funding – Search grants (see website) Application (Handout) – All docs must be in pdf for uploading Grants.gov
