Open PuTTY 1 Step 1: Click on “Start”.
Open PuTTY 2 Step 2: Click on “Run”.
Open PuTTY 3 Step 3: Type "W:/Putty.exe" into the “Run” dialog box and hit "OK“.
PuTTY Setup 1 Step 1: Type “gl.umbc.edu” into the Host Name Box.
PuTTY Setup 2 Step 2: Type “GL” into the “Save Session Box”.
PuTTY Setup 3 Step 3: Click on “Save”.
PuTTY Setup 4 Step 4: Click on the “Open” Button.
