By Darren and Brian. WWII. HITLER. Adolf Hitler was born in Austria. He used to like to paint. When he fought in WWI he blamed the jews for the war. Hitler carried on with his blame and started a group called the Nazi party.

  2. HITLER • Adolf Hitler was born in Austria. He used to like to paint. When he fought in WWI he blamed the jews for the war. • Hitler carried on with his blame and started a group called the Nazi party. • Eventually, Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. When Hitler took over Poland, England and France declared war on Germany

  3. Russia • When the Germans were in a lot of power they decided to invade Russia. • This was one of Hitler’s biggest mistake. It was going well for the Nazis but when Winter came the Russians got back. Germany’s tanks wouldn’t work and soilders froze to death.The Russians pushed them back to the border.

  4. Ireland during the war • Ireland was neutral in the war but it still affected them • There were no ships able to travel so Ireland were low on rations such as tea, sugar, petrol and gas. • Everyone had a ration book.

  5. Nuclear bombing on Japan • When Japan attacked Pearl Harbour, Hawaii America declared war on the Axis Forces. • America dropped their secret weapon, the nuclear bomb ,on Japan. • First they bombed Hoshigaki. Japan didn’t surrender. But when they bombed Nagasaki the Japanese had no choice but to surrender.

  6. The Germans surrendered on the 7th of May. On the 29th of April Hitler married his wife, they both committed suicide the day after. WWII officially ended on the 8th of May at midnight 1945.
