No CALs required for external users, internal users need CALs • Internet Sites scenario licensed through SharePoint Server • External users means users that are not either your or your affiliates’ employees, or your or your affiliates’ onsite contractors or onsite agents • No change in Windows server and SQL Server licensing pre-requisites

SharePoint 2013 Pricing Changes • More context on SharePoint Server price increase • Consolidate FAST Search Server for SharePoint (FS4SP) product into SharePoint Server 2013 • Discontinue SharePoint for Internet Sites (FIS) SKUs and license External Users scenarios (Internet Sites, Extranet) through SharePoint Server 2013 • Both FIS and FS4SP are considerably more expensive compared to the SharePoint Server 2013 SKU. E.g. Today, FIS-E is priced at~$50,548 and FS4SP costs ~$27,005 for 3-yr SELECT L&SA, whereas SharePoint Server 2013 will cost ~$8,300 only
Audit and Control Management Server 2013 • Server features (licensed through SharePoint Enterprise CAL) • Discovery & Risk Assessment: Automate Discovery and Risk Assessment for business critical Excel spreadsheets and Access Databases • Audit & Control Manager: Automate Auditing and Permission Control of business critical Excel Spreadsheets and Access Databases • In order to use above features, customers will need to license: • Microsoft Office Audit and Control Management Server 2013 and • SharePoint Enterprise CAL
Legacy FAST Maintenance Transition • 2013 Grants Eligibility Criteria • 1) Qualifying product. Eligible products are: • FAST Search Server 2010 for Internal Applications (FSIA) • FAST Search Server 2010 for Internet Sites (FSIS) • 2) Perpetual license. Only perpetual licenses are eligible for license grants. Term licenses are not • 3) Current on M&S. Customer must have been current on FAST M&S as of Jul 2, 2012 Questions?
