  6. 2013 NITEC Cut off points • Based on best 4 N level subjects including prerequisites and bonus points. • Bonus points will only come into effect when student is eligible for the course. • CCA A1-A2: 2 bonus points • CCA B3-C6: 1 bonus point CCA is impt!

Nitec / Higher Nitec • Nitec graduates with good GPA can apply for progression to the first year of a relevant Higher Niteccourse as follow : • Nitec in Engineering/Info-Comm Technology graduates with GPA of at least 2.3 may apply for progression to a Higher Nitec Engineering/Info-Comm Technology course. • Nitec in Space Design (Architecture) and Nitec in Space Design (Interior & Exhibition) graduates with with GPA of at least 2.3 may apply for progression to the Higher Nitec Space Design Technology course. • Nitec in Business & Services graduates with GPA of at least 2.8 may apply for progression to a Higher Nitec Business & Services course. • Nitec in Aerospace Avionics and Aerospace Technology graduates with GPA of at least 2.8 may apply for progression to the Higher Nitec Aerospace Engineering course. • Nitec in Nursing graduates with GPA of at least 2.8 may apply for progression to the Higher Nitec in Paramedic & Emergency Care course. • Nitecgraduates with GPA >=3.0 may apply for progression to the second year of a Higher Nitec course relevant to their course of study.

Nitec / Higher Nitec • Higher Nitec graduates with a GPA >= 2.0 may also apply for admission to the first year of a related diploma course at the polytechnics. • For some diploma courses in the Engineering field, Higher Nitecgraduates with a GPA >=3.5 may be admitted directly to the second year of training in Poly. You can proceed to Poly after ITE!

  11. 0 or 1 GCE 'N' Pass • GCE ‘N(T)’ school leavers with 0 or 1 GCE 'N' Pass: 3 – Year Nitec with Enhanced Nitec Foundation Programme

  12. 3-YEAR NITEC COURSES WITH ENHANCED NITEC FOUNDATION PROGRAMME • To build the necessary literacy and numeracy foundations that will enable them to successfully complete their Nitec courses • Undergo two years of foundation training before progressing on to Career Core curriculum in the third year • 3-Year Nitec courses with Enhanced Nitec Foundation Programme are: • Nitec in Beauty & Wellness, • Nitec in Facility Technology (Mechanical & Electrical Services), • Nitec in Laser & Tooling Technology, • Nitec in Mechanical Technology and • Nitec in Retail Services.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBJECT COMBINATION OPTION EXERCISE 21 OCT (TUE), 9am – 27 OCT (Mon), 4pm Students to submit choice of subject combination via LMS 05 NOV (Wed), 2pm Release of outcome of subject combination • Students can check via LMS or from noticeboard outside Main Staffroom SERVE. LEAD. EXCEL

PROCEDURE FOR SUBJECT COMBINATION OPTION EXERCISE 05 NOV (Wed), 2pm – 07 NOV (Fri), 4pm Appeal for change of subject combination • via hardcopy form obtainable from LMS or General Office • Appeal form to be submitted to General Office by 4pm on 08 Nov 17 NOV (Mon), 2pm Confirmation of Subject Combination and Class for all Students • Students to check finalised list from School Noticeboard outside Main Staffroom

  26. Note: You are reminded to choose your subject combination wisely. There is no guarantee of a subject combination of your choice. If you do not submit your option online by 27 Oct, you will be assigned to any available subject combination. SERVE. LEAD. EXCEL
