The History and How the Computer was Built • Charles Babbage started working on the Difference Machine. • The Difference Machine only did math. • The Difference Machine was never finished because of funding. • The Science London Museum finished the Difference Machine for Charles Babbage. • In 1837 Charles Babbage invented Analytical Engine. • The Analytical Engine had a Local Control, Basic Flow Control, and a Integrated Memory. • The Analytical Engine was also not finished because of funding.

  5. Why People Bought the Computer • When the Army herd about the computer they donated a generous amount of money. • They bought a computer to make a plan. • They needed something fast , so they got a computer.

  7. The Uses of the Computer • The computer could multiply big numbers. • Most people had trouble multiplying big numbers. • It did math very fast, so people wanted a computer like this. • It could help with homework and many other things.
