Additional Homestead Exemption • Additional $25,000 of homestead exemption goes to voters in Nov 2018 (60% required) • Estimated impact for Flagler County only is a reduction of $3.8 million • Would require a .5 Millage increase or $.50 per thousand dollars of valuation –Tax Shift • Legislation would takes effect January 1, 2019 for FY19-20 Budget.
