CARICAD • Established in 1980 by an agreement among the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). • A regional intergovernmental organization specializing in transforming and modernizing the Public Sector organizations of Caribbean States • Focus on the development and sustainability of a strong leadership and governance framework within the Public Sector of the Caribbean Community effectively encouraging social partnerships in the process

Aligned projects • Centre of Excellence for E-governance in the Caribbean (CEEGC) - UNESCO, UWI, CARICAD • Providing leadership and excellence in e-governance by promoting targeted action oriented research, enhancing regional capacity through relevant training and institutional strengthening, recognizing and supporting on the ground implementation of innovative approaches, and encouraging collaborative approaches to common issues. • Technology transfer – CASE (Antigua &Barbuda and Jamaica) • OECS eGovernment for regional integration program (EGRIP) – OECS, WB, CDB, CARICAD
