Formative Assessment • A process used by teachers and students during instruction that provides feedback to adjust ongoing teaching and learning to help students improve their achievement of intended instructional outcomes. • CCSSO, 2006

NC KEA NC KEA Pilot Selection Training
NC KEA Pilot Purpose: • To gain an understanding of the classroom application of the NC KEA • To inform the continued development of the NC KEA • To inform the revision of training and support
NC KEA Pilot • NC KEA begins on the first student day. • NC KEA process will be implemented during the first 60 days. • Teachers have the option to continue using the KEA process after 60 days.
