The Amish Farm may include lambs to use for their wool. The wool is used in their household needs such as clothing, blankets, etc.
Goats are also very useful on the Amish Farm. They produce more milk than cows and are very hardy. Sheep require more care.
Many traditional Amish children play with faceless dolls because many believe faces should be given by God not by people
All Amish dresses are alike. The colors can be different but many prefer the traditional blue. The white covering is used as an apron.

The Amish believe hex signs bring good luck to their homes or they keep evil spirits away. Many can be seen over barn doors
Amish use horses to pull farm equipment. No motorized tractors are used to plow.
The Amish bury their dead in simple graves with no flowers. Their tombstones have only their name and birth and death dates. The women are buried in their wedding cap and apron.
