  3. Tuesday December 6 Guest Miss Matich 1. Begin: Title papers: “Journal Write: #2 Obstacles” Odysseus has many obstacles on his journey home, a place he knows holds happiness for him. Write about obstacles you can identify in your life that might be preventing you from success or happiness, as you would define it. Explain why they are obstacles and how you can overcome them. Full Page minimum: 10-15 minutes or HW 2. Correct (vocabulary 14 ~2nd and 4th hours) (Vocab 2 for 5th hour) 3. 10-15 for packet time 4. Cornell Note Taking by hand; on the movie The Odyssey compare / contrast

Wednesday December 7 Review Rotation: for vocabulary 14 & 2 Choose 3 vocabulary words from this week and 2 from last week and write sentences that would relate to The Odyssey’s theme, characterization, plot, or conflict. Target Example:Near the end of Odysseus’sjourney having only a scantycrew one might conclude he may not make it home. Packets done for Thursday: Watch rest of movie. Hand out essay assignment due Monday start of class.

  5. Thursday December 8 Guest Teacher Miss Matich Take Attendance: students in assigned seats?  Guidance Off ice surveys in class Mr. Tunney Writing essays in class. (writing workshop)

  6. Friday December 9th Vocabulary Quiz: Writing Workshop for essay Silent Reading (Title record start and stops goals)
