Operational Summary • No TBM attacks into Kuwait yesterday • TBM launcher struck in Southern Iraq • UK forces destroyed Iraqi armored vehicles leaving Basrah • Civilians come under fire from regime paramilitaries • Oil well fire mitigation efforts continue • Progress against 3 remaining oil well fires is being made by Coalition and Kuwaiti firefighters

Security Situation Update • CA assessments continue at a pace commensurate with the local security conditions • KU and US military state, traveling to Iraq is still unstable. Close interaction with HOC prior to departure is highly recommended to ensure receipt of the most recent security updates • Paramilitary forces pose threat to HA activities
