To the present moment there are terminals in Kiev, Odessa, Dnepropetrovs’k, Kharkov, Donetsk, Lugansk and reloading terminal on the border between Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary in Chop. Kiev-Liski Kharkov-Liski Lugansk-Liski Chop-Liski Donetsk-Liski Odessa-Liski Dnepropetrovs’k-Liski During the reconstruction all terminals are equipped with a modern technique that is applicable for the processing intermodal transport units.
On the next stage freight customs terminals will be opened on this terminals, with a setting representatives of all necessary controlling cervices, that is an important feature in providing a complex of intermodal transportation services FCT FCT FCT FCT Such complexes are already functioning in Kiev, Kharkov, Dnipropetrovs’k and Donetsk.
It should be mentioned, that Centre in cooperation with Ukrzalisnitsya, State Customs service of Ukraine, SC “Odessa Sea Port” and Odessa Railway have opened Point of control on Odessa-Liski station. Key feature of its work – is transporting containers from Odessa Sea Port to Odessa-Liski, with a further carrying out customs and border controlson the Liski terminal.
All necessary legislative documents and technological procedures that are needed for Odessa-Liski functioning as Point of control on the state border, are worked out and agreed, including a schedule for block-trains that will deliver containers from Odessa-port to Оdessa-Liski. Time of transportation containers from port to the terminal – 2 hours. Execution ofone container on the Odessa-Liski terminalis up to three times faster, then the same operations in Odessa-port.
Theare following structures on the Odessa-Liski terminal: • Customs and Border control zone • Specialized container sight and warehouse that are able to work in two regimes, both WTS and CLW • All necessary control services
Shifting customs and other kinds of state controls, that are provided by clause 27 of Customs Lawbook of Ukraine from sea port to the Liski’s terminals, where “land ports” are planned to be opened, will bring to the increase of container transportations flows because of multiplying speed of containers transportation and decreasing time of container standing on sea ports points of control.
Solving problems of “land ports” establishment and setting the competitive tariff rates on transporting goods on intermodal trains allows to save existing volumes of transportation and to involve new volumes in local and international communication
