Our entry level jobs are called General Entry. These are non-trade based positions. These positions are available to candidates with education from year 9 – year 12. Generally, Maths and English are the main subjects required.

Technical Trade based Apprenticeships. Education requirements for these positions is a min of Year 10 schooling with passes in English, Maths and Science (preferably Physics). OFFICER ENTRY • Our management avenue of entry covers 4 avenues: • Direct Entry Officer • Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) • Defence Sponsored Undergraduate • Graduate • Depending on the avenue of entry, the minimum education requirement for Officer Entry is Year 12 with passes in Maths and English. • ADFA candidates must achieve a TER of 70 to be accepted but can apply during year 11.
