  2. Our life has been threatened by the mankind itself. We damage our surroundings carelessly and often unwittingly. We are responsible for our environment, including plants which are disappearing rapidly. The following slides are going to demonstrate the main causes and results of this process.

  3. AQUATIC PLANTS Aquatic plants are plants that have adapted to living in aquatic environments (saltwater or freshwater). Many small aquatic animals use plants like duckweed for a home, or for protection from predators.

Tree of the Year in Felsőmocsolád, Hungary in 2012 • It was the Tree of Europe in 2012. • It is 400 years old. • This is in Felsőmocsolád in Somogy county, Hungary. • In 2011 it got 11 158 votes . • Today the Bánó Castle Hotel’s owners nurturing this. • Its legend is there was a disaster that the tree just this survived. From the little linden’s crops borned again the burned forest. • After the Turkish occupation the last garaboncids reclused and he went to the lair and the tree accepted him . After that the tree’s bole became a face and under the crust the three animal putting out their heads.

  10. Extinction of medicinalplants: Even today, the best medicinesare natural medicines! Most commonly used by the pharmaceutical industry.   11. Pesticides • 80% of our illnesses evolve from what we eat and drink. • The strong pesticides not only make people ill but the plants too!!! • Its side effects can be headache, nausea, there may be vomit, diarrhoea, sweating.

  15. The Global warming • The Earth’s average temperature grows and the plants strength is getting weaker.  The plants are expanding towards the poles and extinct finally.

What can we do for the World? • Plant a lot of trees to have more forests. • Don’t grow the plants next to the roadway! • Try to avoid using your car all the time ! • Save the water! • Buy recycled things! • We should switch off the lamps if we go out the rooms, and we shouldn’t leave on the TV, because energy stock dindles. • Do not litter! • Collect waste selecively! If you do it, you are a good person, and the World will be like this ->
