THE HISTORY The company was founded in april of 2008 to exploit the technology of on site production of disinfectants. The funding came from Danfoss Venture Capital supervised by Peter Mads Clausen one of the largest Danfoss shareholders. The company was granted “Trusted by Danfoss” status which allows it access to all the Danfoss facilities including laboratories and engineering workshops. Prototype generators were produced and installed at several locations and have now been running for two and a half years. The technology was launched commercially in mid 2009 and installations have been completed in such companies as Carlsberg, Arla, Danfoss and the British NHS. Generators have been sold in nine countries.
THE PROCESS DCW technology exploits the use of membrane cell electrolysis to create a disinfectant that can be used in many applications. The raw material used is common salt so there are no safety issues for operators and their personnel. The disinfectant can be produced at pH levels of between 2.5 and 8.5
THE T 25 GENERATOR The T 25 generator shown above has capacities from 40 Liters per hour to 400 liters per hour with an FAC of 500 ppm when produced at pH8.5. The cost of production including salt and power is ca. 5 Euros per 1000 liters.
THE T10 GENERATOR The T10 generator has capacities from 15 liters per hour to 50 liters per hour and produces at pH 8.5. It is wall mounted with the brine tank and salt tank located underneath. It was specifically designed for potable and process water treatment for volumes between 300 and 1000 cubic meters per day. Its footprint is less than one square meter making it ideal for installation in plant rooms of hospitals and hotels.
FEATURES AND OPTIONS Touch screen control PLC Variable pH by ”dial up” Selfdiagnostics Status and Faultalerts by SMS Ethernet bus Running time and parameter downloads Control of dosing pumps by ORP or FAC sensor Fullyautomaticdescaler Built in watersoftener Powdercoatedorstainlesssteelcabinets From 15 liters per hour to 400 liters per hour Lowchloride versions for closedwater systems
DOCUMENTATION Tests have been carried out at VLB (FIWAT) in Berlin to compare the efficacy of ourliquidswithindustrialSodiumhypochloriteagainstBacillusSubtillus. RUNNING COSTS EXAMPLES Six hundred bed hospital using 360 cubic meters water per day. 1.53€ per day Two hundred bed hotel using 40 cubic meters per day 0.18€ per day Two thousand kilowatt coolingtower 1.10€ per day Food factoryusing 200 cubic meters water per day 0.51€ per day
WARRANTIES and SERVICE All parts carry a warranty of 12 months from installation with the exception of the cell which has a 15,000 hour warranty which is the equivalent of approximately three years use. We reccomend prophylactic servicing 2/4 times per year depending on projected running hours. Service typically takes less than one hour. We normally carry all spares in stock and if ordered before 13.00 Central European time will be despatched same day.
