SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT SYSTEMS: Economic competitiveness, Climate change, Safety, security and health, Quality of life, Equality of Opportunity. c c c Informing the analysis, planning and design of national infrastructure, through the development and demonstration of new decision support tools, and working with partners in government and industry Aims to measure and evaluate the changes in travel, physical activity and carbon emissions related to Sustrans' “Connect2” programme Seeking a step-change improvement in the engineering, economic and environmental performance of railway track making it fit for a 21st century railway, by developing new techniques for its design, construction and maintenance.
