Missed Work • For absences of one to three days, the student will have one day for each day absent. For absences exceeding three days, the student may have two days for each day absent to make up work. Teachers should use discretion and may make exceptions in the case of students whose excused absences were not planned in advance, were beyond the student’s control, and the nature of which would not support make-up the day of return. There is no academic penalty for make-up work completed in the timeframe stated above. All assignments are graded for full credit earned. • Ask teacher for assignments and due dates on FIRST day back at school.
LATE WORK • Late homework will not be accepted unless the parent confirms via remind or e-mail that the assignment was completed on time, but accidentally left at home. • Class work not turned in will become a zero after 1 week. Students will be required to attend SMART block in my room or study hall to complete missing work.
