What role should people play in taking care of one another and sticking up for each other? How do people’s traits and mindsets inform their decisions and lead to success or failure? How does fiction portray history? How does poetry contribute to our understanding of ourselves, others and the world? How can close reading and research improve our understanding of a text and an author? Miscellaneous • Homework is available on Schoology each night. • Absent students should check Schoology and see me during homeroom upon their return to school. • Students may come in at any time to check out a book, seek help, etc. • Extra help is available in the Learning Center before school each day, during study halls, and after school (Mon.-Thurs.).
