What they look like • Their ears are black and rounded and they have black fur around the eyes (eye patches).

What they do and eat • They may eat grass, fruit, and sometimes small animals like chicken.

Threats • They under threat from many different things like people, viruses, and sometimes itself.

Help • One thing that people are doing is to set up programs to protect the Giant Panda.
Help • There is one nature reserve in Gansu and five nature reserves in Shanxi. The government of China set up thirty reserves.
