Output • LMI strategy and three year Action Plan for the English and Dutch Caribbean • Integrated into: • National Government Budgets • Regional Statistical Work Programme • Tripartite support • Backing from the International Donor community • Context: Decent Work country strategies and the Regional Integration process
Focus • Agencies: NSO; DoL; NIS; Min Agriculture • Stakeholders Employers, Trade Unions, Government Policy makers • Basic data sources: • LFS • Wage survey (where necessary combined with the NA survey) • Administrative records (NIS, DoL) • Min Agriculture ongoing surveillance • Statistical infra-structure; classifications, sample frames, interagency collaboration • Funding
Participants • Users and producers of LMI • Regional, International organisations and funding agencies. • National delegates: NSOs, MoLs, Min responsible for (macro-economic) Planning, NTA’s (TVET), NIS, PEA, PES, Trade Unions, Employers’ Organisations and private and public research institutions
