  4. Why does CHS have a STOPiT class? • Hold students accountable • Teach acceptable technology practices and behavior • Students may be tech savvy but have not been taught digital citizenship • Students are connected 24/7 • Support classroom teachers and building principal

  6. Enrollment Process • Classroom teacher takes student’s iPad and gives to principal • Principal gives the Student a “STOPiT” ticket • “Ticket” must be signed by a parent • Student must attend assigned STOPiT class

  7. What do students do in STOPiT • Digital Citizenship Curriculum • 9 Themes of Digital Citizenship by ISTE NETS standards • Project for each STOPiT participant that will benefit other students • Projects implement mobile technology with Digital Citizenship
