Dual Super G3 Modems • The F104/L can be optionally equipped with a 2nd 33.6 Kbps Super G3 Modem with JBIG Compression • Enables system to simultaneously send and receive faxes • Can configure one Line for TX and the other for RX; increases chances of an open line • Automatically searches for open line for transmissions • For receptions, optional Phone Company Roll-Over Line ensures open line

Memory Back Up • The Gestetner F104/L retains documents in fax memory for up to 12 hours! • Unlimited backup (non-volatile) with user-installable 40MB Flash Memory Card • Added security in the event of a power failure In the event of a power outage/interruption, any documents stored in memory, e.g., for Send Later, Polling, Substitute Reception, Batch Transmission, Auto Document, Memory Lock, etc., are not lost. Note: Programmed autodials are saved indefinitely by a separate battery source

Dual Access/Multi-access • Allows two or more functions to be performed simultaneously • Scan a document into memory while the unit is transmitting or printing a fax • Eliminates the need to wait for one job to finish before starting another • Increases productivity and prevents bottlenecks for improved throughput

  20. Duplex Transmission • Enables a user to scan both sides of an original into memory for automatic collation and transmission to the remote fax • Saves time! No more copying of a two-sided original before faxing

  21. Duplex Reception New • Enables Gestetner F104/L to print received faxes on both sides of paper (duplex) • Reduces costs by cutting paper usage

Duplex Copying/Printing New • The Gestetner F104/L can make convenience copies 1-sided to 2-sided (2-sided to 2-sided and 2-sided to 1-sided are also supported) • Allows for greater paper handling flexibility • Reduces paper costs/operating expenses • Printer drivers (bundled with optional Network Printer Interface) also support duplex printing
