They will come. Why not? Wanted: A New Study Abroad Model Fit for Asia 2012 CIEE Annual Conference on International Educational Exchange Shanghai, 14-17 November 2012
About us • We are a young institution • We are open to trying • We think we can succeed • We see some obstacles, both internally, and because of the market • We have experience with Asian students for exchange and internship immersion; now we want to up the ante
In the national setting • Nationally, we have paved the way for attracting foreign students for full degree • This is exceptional in Israel • Unlike many of the other institutions in Israel we are big on exchange programs • We are well positioned to attract Asian students for undergraduate study, because of our structure • We are new in Study Abroad; as we think how to attract American and other students (European) for one semester we are also thinking about how to attract Asian students for one semester.
