  11. (Teacher Says) • Everyone must do whatever Simon says, as long as Simon prefaces his or her request with the phrase, • "Simon says ..." So "Simon says, stand on one foot" must be complied with, but "Jump up and down" should not. Anyone who compliles at the wrong time is out. Last one in the game wins -- and, if you're willing to risk it, becomes the next Simon.

  12. Chinese Expression • 老师说 lǎoshīshuō (teacher says) • 摸头 mōtóu (touch the head) • 摸鼻子mōbízi (touchthenose)

  13. Crawl-Through-the-Hoops Game • Put a couple of Hula Hoops on someone's arm, and have everyone join hands in a circle. The trick? Get one hoop around the circle going one direction and the other hoop going the opposite direction. But no fair letting go of hands! Squeeze, crawl, and shake your way through them.

  14. BalloonBouncing • Material: Five balloons • Rule: Everybody lies down in a circle. Try to keep a balloon up as long as possible. Start with five balloons and let the kids pop each one after it hits the ground.

  15. Chinese Expression • 往上拍:WǎngShàngPāi (keep the balloon up) • 快点:kuàidiǎn (quickly)

  16. Crayon Relay • Material: Supply one box of crayons per team. • Rule: Distribute the crayons, one per runner, and put the empty boxes at the finish line. Goal? Fill up the boxes, crayon by crayon. (Or use easy puzzles and assemble them piece by piece.)

  17. up”, “down”, “stop”, or “go” 上,下,停,走 • Call out the commands “up”, “down”, “stop”, or “go” one at a time. • For the first few minutes, watch the group and stop when players do the wrong movement and prompt them to complete the designated task (jumping jacks, etc.) • After the first few minutes, call out the commands without stopping for those who make a mistake. They can just quickly do the task and get back in the game.

  18. Four Corners: • Designate each corner of the room with a number. One kid puts his head down (no peeking) and the rest quickly and silently walk to one of the 4 corners while the kid counts to 10. At the count of ten, he/she calls out one of the 4 numbers, and anyone standing in that corner sits down. Repeat until there's one kid left. As the numbers dwindle, thee may be a corner with no kids. Stress that once the kid counting gets to 9, they'd better be in a corner!! No dashing at the count of 8 or 9!! The last kid up gets to be the next counter.

  19. Water Balloon Toss 丢水球 Material:Waterballoons Rule:Players form two lines, one step apart. Your partner is the person standing directly in front of you. On the first round, toss a water balloon to your partner. If it's caught and doesn't break -- or if it hits the ground and doesn't break -- then each of you has to back up one step and try again. A broken balloon means you're out. The winning team is the last one with an intact balloon.

  20. Chinese • 丢水球 diūshuǐqiú (throw the water balloon) • 往前走 wangqianzou (walk forward) • 一步 yibu (one step) • 破了 po le (it broke)

  21. SPARKLE: • before "sparkle" the person has to say the whole sentence , then next person says sparkle, next says boom and sits down: • I say: 我吃桔子。 • 1st - says cat – 我 • 2nd - says 吃 • 3rd - says 桔 • 4th - says 子 • 5th - says 我吃桔子。 • 6th says Sparkle, • 7th says Boom. • and sits down.
