Percy Jackson and “The Hero’s Journey” • You will focus your work on pages 93-95 in chapter 7 • There are several examples of Percy having experiences aligning with “The Hero’s Journey.”
Percy’s experiences can be aligned to: • “Entering the Unknown.” 2. “Supernatural Aid” 3. “Allies and Helpers” 4. “The Road of Trials.”
Directions… • Reread the four parts listed on the board that we just mentioned. • Choose ONE experience in The Lightning Thief and match it with a stage of the hero’s journey. • Gather evidence from The Lightning Thief. • Gather evidence from “The Hero’s Journey.” • Use your graphic organizer to help you write your paragraph.
