Navigating change with NOAA • This is me (Amrit) learning to use a turbidity tube. We learned that turbidity is all the things in that fog your vision of the water . The things include mud and silt.
Navigating change with NOAA • This a group of kids learning about what a marine atoll looks and feels like. We did this at the artificial atoll area in the maritime museum . We talked about what was polluting the atoll and how to stop it.
Navigating change with NOAA • This a picture of a healthy reef. We all learned what was giving the coral its food. • We learned that tiny algae called zoozenthelly that attract sunlight and converts it into food for the coral.
What might happen • Through NOAA we learned that we need to stop polluting or coral will die. There were many way that we could stop polluting the ocean and coral • I learned coral homes lots of animals so if we kill coral the whole marine food chain will be disrupted.
