  1. Peace Agreement By: Dakotahhh!!, Taylor, Kellen and Alex

Terrorism • Terrorism is the act of bringing terror upon people for money or political purposes. • The three major terrorists in the region are Al-Qaeda, The Hezbollah and The Hamas. • The Hammas’s (Palestinian terrorist group) goal is to get the Jews out of Israel. • Their ultimate goals are total destruction, money, and for their victims to convert.

  3. Terrorism • Hamas- The ruling party of the Palestinians, but most people think of them as terrorists • Al Qaeda- Terrorist group that is run by Osama Bin Laden. • Osama was part of a multi-billionaire family until he was disowned from his family and lost his Saudi citizenship.

Israel stuff. • The leader is Benjamin Netanyahu • Zionism: the Jews want to go back to their homeland. • Established on May 14, 1948 • Less than 24 hours later, the countries around Israel all invaded; Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. • It lasted about 15 months and took about 6,000 lives.

  5. Israel and otherz. • USA and Israel are allies • Everyone else in the Middle East feels that we favor Israel the most out of all of the other countries.

  6. Palestine • The Jews originally owned the land, until the were pushed out. The Palestinians eventually moved in and made it their home, until the Jewish came back for it and began taking it over little by little. • MohamadAbbas is the Palestinian leader. • The Palestinians were treated poorly by Israel. • Palestinians now think of it as their home, and Israel’s are the invaders.

  7. Palestine Israel continues pushing on Pakistani borders. Are offering peace if the Israel's stop moving in on their land. Are as afraid of the Israel's as the Israel's are of them. Want to have part Jerusalem, as well as the important religious sites

  8. 3 main Religions: • Christian • Muslim • Judaism • Similarities between these Religions: They all believe in only one god. • Controlling of Sectors: The Muslim Arabs were controlling the Eastern part of Palestine, Jews controlled the other part of Palestine.

  9. What should be done? • Jerusalem needs to be neutralized, Make a universal religion that both religions agree upon. • The Claims: The Muslim Arabs were pushed East and the Jews took over. • Obstacles standing in the way: Each of the religions have their own thoughts and beliefs on what should happen.

  10. We would keep the city divided as it is. But then give the terrorists as much money as they wanted. Between all the Middle East countries in the U.S. would be able to raise enough money and give it to them.
