PA QA Scheme launched • Aimed at Home Care providers who want to break into the Direct Payment market and wish to offer Personal Assistants • Diversifying home care businesses – creating a bank of staff • Kite marking scheme endorsed by HCC • Limited Training on offer • Train the Trainer option available – making it sustainable • Sign up on HCPA stand if you would like more information

It is our job to DO SOMETHING • Wellbeing is high on the National Agenda but also high on the agenda of every individual, this is applicable to everyone, LD, MH, Physical Disability, Sensory Disability, Elderly and Dementia • Today we would like you to think about what you can do within the service you offer to promote wellbeing

HCPA Members to tackle Social Isolation in Hertfordshire • What can you do to combat social isolation? • HCPA have invested in Activities • Utilise your activities staff to engage with the wider community • Offer activities (including lunch clubs) to lonely people who are at home • Make a small charge – think of the benefits for you and for isolated people • Home care agencies can offer support with transport and PA type care • EVERYONE WINS!
