Falls – Homecare, is it your business? • If you could keep people at home by helping with falls prevention and responding appropriately if falls happen would this help your clients? • If you could stop your clients going into hospital, would this help your business? • If the answer is Yes, Yes then please sign up today • Falls courses are currently under subscribed

  5. Higher Apprentices • We have funding available for these, please see Skills for Care presentation or talk to Jackie on the HCPA stand

  6. WDF • We still have funding available • All claims MUST be in by 15th March • £12.75 per QCF unit • You can offer your staff Awards, Certificates or Diplomas

WDDF • New Money for Dementia Qualifications • Includes some end of life and activities units • Enhanced payments of £200 for an Award or Diploma • Enhanced payment of £300 for a Certificate • Go to the HCPA stand to identify the specific units • ….More on the new Advanced Dementia Pathway at the end of today

What YOU want… Please undertake our survey • HCPA will: • Work on behalf of it’s membership to provide up to date information and act as a collective voice. • Work in partnership with the Local Authority, NHS and other key partners to enable Hertfordshire Private Independent and Voluntary Care Providers to keep up to date with local and national drivers and achieve optimum performance with regards to workforce development. • HCPA will seek funding for care providers to grow the skills of the workforce and to assemble projects targeted at specific care sectors and needs.
