June 16, 2009 . The entire Kissimmee River Basin was recently treated for Brazilian Pepper. The above area represents a large stand that was treated in lower Phase I floodplain. Observations by scientific staff indicate that treatment eliminated nearly 100% of Brazilian Pepper in the Kissimmee basin
