Entering Leave Requests 2019 - 2020. Go to the Intranet Choose“Employee Self-Serve”. Select “Log In,” which will be in the top right corner. Type in your user name and password. Your user name is your email without the @barrow.k12.ga.us Click “Log in”.

Go to the Intranet • Choose“Employee Self-Serve”
Select “Log In,” which will be in the top right corner. • Type in your user name and password. Your user name is your email without the @barrow.k12.ga.us • Click “Log in”
Once you click “Time Off” it will give you two options. • Select the first option -- “Request Time Off”
Select the day or days that you wish to request off by clicking directly on the calendar. The day should turn “orange” once you click on it. • Then press “continue.”
Select which type of leave is being used by clicking the button on the left. • Click “continue” • Remember you can only take 3 personal days a year.
Enter the portion of the day that you are requesting leave. • Do NOT put the number of hours!! • Click “continue”
Double check your information. • You may type a SHORT comment if you like. This can also be a memo to help you remember why you were out. • Do not worry about selecting a reason. • Click “Make Request” Optional Don’t Do
If you need help determining what portion of the day you will be gone, you can click “Resources” in the top right corner. • Then choose “Leave - Time Entry Crosswalk 15”
Clicking this link will provide a helpful handout that already has the portion of the day calculated by 15 minute increments.
Once your request is approved, you will get an automatic email from “munis-workflow.” • It will go to whatever email you have in the employee self-serve system, which might not be your k12 account. The email will tell you if your request is denied or approved. • If approved, the email will say it was approved by Alishia Moss because that is who processes the request. • Ms. Martin still reviews and approves/denies all requests.
There is also a Munis Self Service App you can download on your phone. • The process is very similar on the app.
In addition to putting your request into the Munis Self Service program, please also complete a hard copy leave request. • These can be found in Alishia Moss office. • Please make sure they are signed and turned into Alishia (Front Office). • Remember that personal leave requests should be made at least 7 days in advance.
