PRD Action Plan • PRD group to review our self-assessment • To visit the prisons to review provision and moderate grades • To support the changes required to meet the needs of our different group of learners • In preparation for inspection in October 2009
HMP The Mount in context • Population- Maximum Capacity 768 including: • 91 IPPs • 44 Lifers • 211 Foreign Nationals • 41 IDTS • 6 Reached retirement age of 65 DK
HMP The Mount – Self-assessment • This is an inclusive process • All Learning and Skills areas produce a SAR • The information from each area is then used to inform an over arching SAR for the provision • An action plan is developed to include actions across the provision • This action plan is used through the QIG to monitor outcomes against planned actions • Regularly reviewed and updated DK
