My Life as an Elementary School Reader

My Life as an Elementary School Reader. Christine Konopasek. Busytown. I remember having LOTS of Richard Scarry books, and even though I don’t remember too much about them, I do remember Lowly Worm and his hat as well as his friend, Huckle the Cat. My parents used to read these to me.

  2. Busytown I remember having LOTS of Richard Scarry books, and even though I don’t remember too much about them, I do remember Lowly Worm and his hat as well as his friend, Huckle the Cat. My parents used to read these to me.

  3. Little Critter One of my favorite characters was Little Critter from the Mercer Mayer series. I would read these books with my mom all the time, and I think we still have them on a bookshelf at home. In particular I remember All By Myselfand Me Too! because the first was about wanting to be independent and the other about an irritating sibling.

  4. The BFG Matilda Roald Dahl I loved Roald Dahl books and devoured them. I remember my third grade teacher, Mrs. Pirc, reading Matilda to the class. She was such a different girl, and I think that’s what stands out about a lot of his characters – they are uncommon people in ridiculous situations, but at the same time, aspects of them are relatable. The Witches Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

  5. My First Chapter Books
