  1. THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR BLESSINGS ON ME! A Prayer to God Oh God you have been good to me. Better than I deserve, forgive me Lord for my sins and failures. Wipe away my transgressions and make me white as snow. Lead me Lord to the promise land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Teach me Lord how to love people, and teach me Lord how to share my blessings with others. Thank you God for your blessings on me. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. “ Psalms 121:1-8. From the food we eat, the water we drink, the roof above our heads or the sun that keeps us warm and makes things grow. Thank you God for loving us and giving us the things we need to live. God expects His people, the children of God to be a blessing to others. God blesses us so that we can in return help others. How can we keep all of God’s blessings to ourselves? If God has been good to you, prove it by sharing your blessings with those who are less fortunate. Freely you have received, freely give!   3. New Life Children's Home “Where GOD Is Changing (kids’) Lives” “As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.” Luke 21:1-2 NIV Whether it is the “widow’s mite” or an unexpected large financial gift, NLCH is appreciative of every financial donation we receive. Despite what most people think, this children’s home is not a money making factory. We do receive funding from the State however that does not cover the operating costs. We are not supported financially by any large church organization. We must completely rely and trust in God and the people of God to act each month in order for this facility to continue to serve these children in the name of Jesus Christ. What would happen to our ministry if we did not receive monthly donations. Just the thought makes me nervous. We would have to send children away from here and into unknown places. During the last election the people of Arkansas voted that foster children could not be placed in homes where the adults cohabited together but not married. That law has since been repealed by Judicial declaration and children can be placed in homes where marriage is not valued. Our ministry is looking to expand and not shrink. A grant to expand bedrooms on the children’s home in Oil Trough has been approved. The Newport School Board has approved the lease of Castleberry school to us for a youth home. We have begun construction already on our home for teenage mothers with children. These expansions will allow us to provide safe warm beds for nearly 100 adolescents. Thankfully, we don’t have to worry about not receiving support from God and the people of God. We know HE has called us to these ministries and HE will see their fulfillment. Thank you for giving; without you we would be unable to give back to other children waiting to be rescued and found. The home is designed to help women recover. • Jail Ministry Taking the Gospel to those who are incarcerated. •Community Pride In Action Volunteers in the upkeep of the streets and neighborhoods of Jackson and Independence Counties. We also have Lawn & Yard Services available. • Nursing Home Sharing God’s love for those who are shut-in. •Deborah House Is our women’s homeless shelter. We have 10 beds in this home for anyone that needs help. •God’s Storehouse PNS operates a weekly food bank, God’s Storehouse. Anyone needing assistance with food can find help here. We are open Wednesday 2-6pm •New Life Children’s Home A home in Oil Trough, AR for orphans and abandoned children. •Gideon House Recovery home for men with 14 beds. This home helps men overcome addictions or any type of bondages •New Life Church PNS Chapel and Community Church “Where God is Changing Lives” Everyone is Welcome •State Street Mission 905 N. State Street Open Every Saturday 10am-2pm A mission focused on sharing the love of God. Helping with mentoring, food and clothing. •Joshua House Men’s homeless shelter that has 9 beds. The shelter is for anyone that has no place to stay •Caleb House Transition home for men who have completed our program. Can hold 8 beds. ●Breakthrough Meetings Life skill classes to help overcome addictions, depression, and anxiety that holds you back. •Promise Land A income apartments for teenage mothers. •Faith, Hope, and Love Home A home for mothers with their children. •Sarah House Is our women’s shelter for pregnant women. We have 8 beds in this home for anyone that needs help •Ruth House Is our women’s transitional housing. We have 6 beds in this home for anyone women graduates who want to live at our facility after they graduate New Life Children’s Home Sponsor The Children Program and Help Change Children’s Lives If you are not a sponsor at this time, but would like to become one, please, don’t put it off.
