Using negotiated WBL in HE • Increased focus on work • Negotiable content within empty module frameworks (flexibility) • Responsive to work place developments (currency) • Uses knowledge and training from the workplace without duplication of effort (accreditation) • Flexible deadlines allows student deferment, thereby responding to work schedules • Encourages reflection & transfer of learning into work
